Rates for the Greats

I will now be giving my opinions on some of the webcomics on Topwebcomics.com

Urgoogle.com
Summary: A bunch of zany characters doing zany stuff, storylines are for sissies.
Art: 3/5
Creativity:4/5
Story:2/5
Humor:5/5

Rating: 7.5/10
Comments: All though I am an artist for said site, I do find the art a bit lacking and if you are lookin' for a story line, I suggest you try a book. The real saver is the humor. Almost every comic has something for a gut busting laugh.

Abstract Gender
Summary: Ryan is stuck as a girl, his idiot friend Brian can switch back and forth between genders at will and threatens to blow their entire secret. How will Ryan, now Rachel, manage every day life as a girl and keep from killing anyone in the process?
Art:5/5
Creativity:5/5
Story:5/5
Humor:3/5

Rating: 9/10
Comments: Not only is the comic a real "page" turner, but it has impressive art right from the start! The storyline is so amazing that Stephen King averts his gaze when he sees it. Although the comic lacks consistent humor, when the funny stuff does turn up, it does so in an ingenious way. This is perhaps one of the greatest webcomics I have ever read. They should make a graphic novel or something! I await the next installment with bated breath.

Pebble Version

Summary: A different take on the Pokemon (holy cow, "Pokemon" is in the blogging dictionary.) ruby and sapphires storyline, answering those persistent questions that trainers have had since the start of the franchise. Why can't you declare an attack on another trainer?

Art:3/5
Creativity:4/5
Story:4/5
Humor:6/5

Rating: 8.5/10
Comments: The art in this comic is a bit "not-hand-drawn". This is because it is a sprite comic, so I can't really give it high marks for art. But the comic itself is the funniest thing I have ever read, besides the Hitchhikers Guide. The artist addresses all of the Pokemon game's quirks with amazing humor, such as why certain events never happen until you get to a certain place. The comic even introduces new rivals that are in a way, hand drawn, or are at least original.

All webcomics that have been displayed in this rating have been thoroughly read by this blog's admin: Urb.
